Everything you need to know about Diamond Glow

We are proud to be Missoula's exclusive provider of Diamond Glow for nearly a decade.

How does Diamond Glow work? DiamondGlow™ is a skin-resurfacing device that uses “3X1 Technology” to exfoliate the skin, extract impurities and infuse skin with an advanced serums tailored to address different specific skin concerns—all at once.

“Exfoliation instantly reveals newer skin cells which are brighter and radiant by sloughing away the dead skin cells that make the skin look dull,” explains New York City celebrity aesthetician Cynthia Rivas. “The infusion technology optimizes the penetration of treatment serums by infusing them into the skin at the exact moment of exfoliation and extraction, when the skin is the most permeable and can most effectively absorb product. Together, these technologies visibly improve the look, feel and clarity of the skin.”

Here’s where the diamonds come in: The device wand is fitted with a real diamond tip. Your provider will choose from six different diamond tip options, each designed for a different skin type and texture. Once the device itself is customized for your skin’s needs, together, you and your provider will determine which serum best matches your skin concerns. You’ll choose from SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serums that work to brighten dull skin, clarify stressed-out skin, hydrate dry skin, or address aging skin.

Who should try a DiamondGlow™ treatment? Because DiamondGlow™ is completely customizable, it can work for all skin types and textures. According to Calabasas, CA dermatologist Anna Guanche, MD, those with acne scars, hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun-damaged skin, and fine lines and wrinkles will benefit most from DiamondGlow™. If you have “active acne flares, sensitive or rosacea skin types, or susceptibility to cold sores,” the treatment “may not be ideal,” Dr. Guanche says.

If you want to invest in your skin without sacrificing time, DiamondGlow™ may also be the right treatment for you. The 3X1™ Technology means that each facet of the treatment is happening at once to maximize every second of the procedure and deliver targeted nourishment when pores are open and most receptive—unlike other facials, where exfoliation, extraction and infusion are each performed separately. The in-office treatment will require about 30 minutes, with minimal downtime afterward.

“It’s a true glow-and-go treatment,” says Rivas. She even recommends scheduling an appointment during a lunch break.

Results from one treatment can last four to six weeks, says Dr. Guanche, who recommends scheduling a DiamondGlow™ treatment every four to six weeks for a total of three treatments. After the desired results are achieved, maintenance appointments can be done every three to four months.

The immediate results are impressive. According to a clinical study* conducted by SkinMedica®, 89 percent of patients experienced immediate improvement in overall dryness, 90 percent experienced improvement in skin radiance, and 95 percent reported that their skin felt more plump.

No downtime, beautiful results!
